You don’t just wake up one morning, flick a switch and boom – you are resilient!

TIP No 2 – STOP and RELECT
When things are tough in changing times, or when things don’t go to plan, one of the best things you can do is STOP. Stop and evaluate where you are at.
For me, the best tool to use is the Action Learning Cycle (ALC). It’s is all about ‘learning from doing’.
I use it daily myself and each fortnight with my team.
There are four steps that we work through as a team. #ACT (review the projects we are working on) #REFLECT (What’s going well and not well) #LEARN (Why are we winning or why do we have the issues we do?) and #PLAN (What do we now?).
The key is to ACT on those PLANS and go around the cycle again!
The benefits for our team are huge!
We listen to each other, we hear new thoughts from each other, we put our heads together to build on each other’s thinking and we are all engaged in the solution.
And the link to resilience?
It helps with team unity, builds our confidence and gives us hope to keep going. We know what we need to do to move forward together.
