Are you a leader who is embarking on major change in your business?
Would you like to know how to build resilience in your team?
In the last week in a series of posts on LinkedIn, Tracy has been sharing 7 tips on ‘How to build resilience in your team.’ Many people say they struggle with the HOW.
You don’t just wake up one morning, flick a switch and boom – you are resilient!
So here is an insight to some of the tips. Also please watch Tracy’s short video to hear more.
TIP 1 – Know your strengths & weaknesses
This is not a new concept!
- Plan time together as a team to explore each of your strengths & weaknesses. This is an excellent investment in time.
- As the leader, be vulnerable and share your strengths and weaknesses in the lead up to the team conversation. This will help prepare the team.
- Use tools that will help as the foundation and talking point for your conversations. We are fans of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. It’s an excellent way to learn about how we communicate, how we make decisions and how we structure our world. And when the team understand each other – huge benefits!
- Once identified, utilise different people’s strengths to tackle projects and hurdles. Change is the new norm. It’s here to stay.
